  • CRAIG BURTON - DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT

    Craig Burton has been serving the Eastern Ontario & Nunavut District as Superintendent since May of 2005. He and his wife Wendy have three children, Laura (married to Mark Edwards), Scott (married to Micaela Fulton) and Emily. Craig and Wendy make their home in Hope Township, north-west of Port Hope, ON.


    Craig graduated from Trent University in Peterborough in 1984 and then worked for both the Canada Permanent Trust Company and Canada Trust. Later, Craig pursued ministerial studies and he graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in 1989. He served as a Youth and Assistant Pastor at Richmond Hill Pentecostal Church (1987-1991); Young Adults, Outreach and then Church Administrator at Agincourt Pentecostal Church (1991-1995); then Senior / Lead Pastor at Malvern Christian Assembly for ten years (1995-2005).


    Craig has a desire to see ministers, churches and related ministries across Eastern Ontario & Nunavut strengthened and encouraged. He is committed to establishing strong and meaningful relationships among credential holders and churches. He believes that the shared values of our cooperative fellowship provide significant prospects for Kingdom purpose and advancement in these days of tremendous opportunity.

  • DAVID BLAKELY - ASSISTANT TO THE SUPERINTENDENT - RESOURCES

    David Blakely comes from Moncton, New Brunswick and is the son of a firefighter. David has been in Pastoral Ministry since 1979. He and his wife Kathy began in the PAOC as Assistant Pastors in Kathy’s home town of Truro, Nova Scotia immediately after completing their Bible College years at Eastern Pentecostal Bible College. There they worked on staff with Harold and Yvonne Reid.


    After two years in Truro, they moved with the Reids to Kingston Gospel Temple in Kingston, Ontario for another four years of assistant ministry.


    The small town of Cobden, located in the Ottawa Valley was the next stop for David and Kathy where they would stay for thirteen years seeing the congregation grow and overseeing the construction of a new church building.


    The Blakely family then moved into the Ottawa area to pastor Bethel Pentecostal Church in October of 1997.


    After the 2009 District Conference, David assumed the position of Assistant to the Superintendent - Resources.


    With a strong conviction as to the importance of the local church, David is committed to his calling to care for people, communicate the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ and to encourage the fresh and empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.


    Kathy Blakely has shown a love for music her entire life; she plays and teaches piano. Her passion is for outreach and she loves opening doors into the community through big events.


    David and Kathy have two adult children, Matt and Melanie, who live in the Ottawa area with their families.

  • JASON LUSCOMBE -ASSISTANT TO THE SUPERINTENDENT-

    MINISTRY

    Jason Luscombe is married to Colleen and they have two sons Lincoln and Liam. The Luscombe's grew up in Brampton but now reside in Whitby, ON.


    Jason graduated from Masters College in 1998 and began his ministry at Southside Worship Centre in Ajax as the Assistant Pastor in 1999. After 5 years, Jason became the Lead Pastor of Southside where he then served for over 12 years.


    The Luscombe's have a desire to see the Body of Christ be awakened to the work and the person of the Holy Spirit. They want to help a new generation of Pentecostal leaders both see and hear again the works of the Lord.


    Their life's prayer is Habakkuk 3:2 "Lord I have heard of your fame, I stand in awe of your deeds. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known. In wrath remember mercy".

  • DAN SMITH - Accounting Manager

    Dan spent the first 15 years of his life in Brantford, ON. Following his time in Brantford, his family re-located to Centreville, NB. In 1986, Dan graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.


    In 1991, Dan joined the staff at the Eastern Ontario District as the Accounting Assistant, and later became the District Accountant. In 2005, he left EOD to join the staff at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Peterborough, where he served as the Accounting Manager for 4.5 years. In October 2009, he returned to the Eastern Ontario & Nunavut District and now serves as the Accounting Manager.


    Dan is married to Shelly and together they have two sons, Myles and Luke.

  • JEREMY ALBRECHT - SPECIALIZED MINISTRIES & Youth DIRECTOR

    Jeremy Albrecht was born in Listowel, ON but grew up in the town of Goderich, ON. Jeremy is married to his wife Melissa and both of them graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in 2001. Jeremy worked as the Grounds Supervisor at Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp from 2001-2005 and then transitioned to Youth Pastor at Church on the Hill in Cobourg, ON. In September of 2009, Jeremy and Melissa moved to Ottawa, ON to become Student Ministries Pastor at Woodvale Pentecostal Church. After almost 6 yrs. of Student Ministries there at Woodvale, Jeremy has now transitioned to our EOND office in August of 2015.


    Jeremy, his wife Melissa and their 3 children Jake, Lydia and Sophie reside in Peterborough, ON. Jeremy enjoys spending time with family, playing hockey and any time spent in “The Prayer Closet” (boat).


    Jeremy is passionate about developing leaders, engaging the unchurched and equipping young leaders to lead at their greatest potential.

  • KATHY MAIETTA - DISTRICT CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR

    Kathy Maietta brings to the District more than twenty years of ministry experience, pastoring in the local church and ministering in camps, schools and conferences across Canada. As a registered Early Childhood Educator, she has also facilitated and directed a licensed daycare program at the church where she served as Family Ministries Pastor for nine years. Her professional experience also includes several years as a teaching staff member at one of Ontario's Early Years Centres where she was involved as a trained practitioner for the Positive Parenting Program. Her passion for the next generation is expressed in Psalm 71:18 "Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come."

  • Ali Malott - Women's Network Director

    Ali brings many years of ministry experience including over 16 years of pastoral leadership at Parkwood Gospel Temple in Windsor, Royal View Church in London and Calvary Church in Peterborough where her husband Paul is Lead Pastor.  Ali is currently completing a B.Sc. in Psychology and Crisis Counselling at Liberty University and has a Certificate of Bereavement Education for the University of Toronto.  She has also studied at Southeastern University in Florida and Master's College and Seminary in Peterborough.


    Ali and her husband have been married for 15 years and have four children.  Ethan and Abi are 13, Luke is 11, and Malachi is 9.  Life is very full in the Malott household, but she enjoys every minute being a wife, mother and serving the District as the Women's Network Director.
