Missional Ministries

Aboriginal Ministry

Aboriginal Bible Academy (ABA), formerly known as Native New Life Training Centre, was founded in 1978 with its original purporse of training First Nations people to become effective communicators of the gospel. It continues to be our mandate to serve all Canadian Aboriginal people (First Nations, Métis & Inuit) with the purpose of helping to train and equip indigenous leadership for Christian ministry. However, we are also able to assist any individuals (regardless of Aboriginal status) who desire to study through a distance education system. Whether God has called you to minister from the pulpit or the pew, ABA has the courses you can use to improve your understanding and presentation of God's Word. These inspirational and practical courses use the local church and community as a "learning lab" for the student to apply the knowledge and principles they are gaining.

Campus Ministry

Jonathan Hutchison is passionately committed to building relationships with those inside and outside the kingdom of God - raising up and equipping disciples is close to his heart. Jonathan believes that the years spent in post secondary education can be some of the most meaningful years of a young adults life. This is why Jonathan loves doing what he does, training and equipping ministry leaders from all over EOND to connect with post secondary students. Students who may know the Lord and those who are seeking, these are years that will be used for his glory, to see our Campuses transformed by the power of Holy Spirit and Love of Christ.

Children's Ministries

We are working together with a resource team* to provide a greater opportunity of connecting with resources, people and information that assists the local church in ministering to children. Focus is given to missions through first-hand opportunities and projects that support missions are encouraged and promoted. Finally, we encourage children, children's pastors and leaders to participate each year in an exciting and motivating camp experience. Through program and spiritual emphasis services, children have the unique opportunity to experience the deeper things of God!

Women's Network

The Women's Network exists to disciple, inspire and motivate women to reach their God-given potential. We endeavour to provide resources and opportunities to come together to support and encourage one another. Our goals are a foundation of prayer, a focus on missions and a multi-faceted lifestyle for women to see passion increased, potential unleashed and purpose fulfilled.

We value relationships with women of every culture and generation. We believe in the intrinsic value of women and their potential to effect the eternal destiny of this generation and beyond. We seek to facilitate and empower women to achieve their God-given dreams. We desire to work with the local church to empower every woman to be a person of influence in her community. As we identify the needs in demographic areas, we can respond with relevance in touching others and living 'Beyond Ourselves.'

Women Leading in Missions

The Eastern Ontario & Nunavut Women’s Network is excited to partner with Cathy Tollefson.  The Women’s Network has identified the Daughter Project Canada as the 2016 Life Fund initiative. Nation wide, there is a dark secret that is increasing in rate and intensity. Alongside the war on drugs and weapons, human trafficking is the third most profitable crime in Canada. As the subculture of predators are growing, our girls are more at risk now than ever of becoming victims. Daughter Project Canada is an initiative for the prevention, intervention, and restoration of Canadian girls at risk of sexual exploitation.  AT THE HEART OF THE DAUGHTER PROJECT IS THE BELIEF AND CONVICTION THAT EACH OF THESE GIRLS ARE MORE PRECIOUS TO GOD THAN OUR OWN DAUGHTERS. FOR THIS REASON, WE PLACE OUR GREATEST EMPHASIS ON PREVENTION.

Thank you for seeing a brighter future for our daughters around the world.

Ladies Camp Days' News

Camp Days in EOND are not just a long standing tradition but have become an oasis where women are drawn to share community, celebrate the richness of God and pause to hear the voice of the Spirit.

We will spend the day together at both OVPC and LPC. Watch the OVPC and LPC website for more details.
